  • Led a 35-member team responsible for the daily operations at 290-bed academic medical
    center.
  • Rewrote the strategic governance policy providing nearly 10K nurses input into their
    work environment and practice for the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery covering more
    than 30 healthcare facilities and clinics globally.
  • Significantly improved staff satisfaction and communication by restructuring the
    executive nursing council from one strategic council into four and 13 operational councils.
  • Trained more than 200 staff members annually by performing three community-involved
    emergency management.
  • Coordinated and facilitated the hiring of 35 staff members during a strict budgetary
    environment.
  • Managed five core governance programs and 12-unit practice councils for nursing
    services, increasing participation by 500%
  • In charge of a 24-staff-member specialty care clinic (physicians, nurses, technicians, and
    administrators) averaging more than 33K annual patient encounters while managing a
    budget of $3M.
  • Co-developed and executed the Navy’s inaugural Leadership Academy

    for information annually.
